The National Council of Chain Restaurants, a division of the National Retail Federation, is the leading organization exclusively representing chain restaurant companies. NCCR members include the country’s most respected quick-service and table-service chain restaurants. For more than 40 years, NCCR has worked to advance sound public policy that serves restaurant businesses and the millions of people they employ.
Advocate for policies that affect your business
NCCR opposes the federal Renewable Fuel Standard mandate to mix corn-based ethanol into the nation’s gasoline supply. Why? Because diverting corn to fuel unfairly drives up food prices for chain restaurants and their customers.
Key issues include the Renewable Fuel Standard (food commodity costs), health care reform, swipe fees, immigration reform, tax reform and labor/management policies like overtime.
