NRF is seeking a Coordinator, Programs to join the NRF Foundation.  Individual will be responsible for coordinating efforts and initiatives aligned with NRF Foundation programs that provide resources to prepare people for retail jobs that lead to promising careers and assisting with the development and execution of programs designed to meet industry needs and align with NRF’s overall goals.

Essential Functions

  • Maintains the NRF Job Board, reviews and selects job postings on a weekly basis from the Job Board to appear in our daily newsletter published to the retail industry
  • Works with retailers to create scraping programs to automatically feed relevant positions onto NRF Job Board
  • Support RISE Up platforms, the training and credential program created by the NRF Foundation
  • Works with relevant vendors to provide customer service support to RISE Up delivery partners, attends meetings and assists with processing invoices as needed
  • Manages logistical elements for internal and external meetings, including RSVPs, hotel room blocks, restaurant and menu selection, meeting materials and any contracts or agreements
  • Supports corporate retail sponsorship program to include drafting agreements, managing legal review, requesting and verifying invoices, tracking payments and ensuring all internal stakeholders have copies of fully-executed documents
  • Assists with execution of sponsorship deliverables as needed
  • Manages the logistics for NRF Foundation programs and events, which includes creating and maintaining event timelines, managing speaker agreements, outreach to confirmed speakers, invoicing and billing, website updates and room set-up; assists with production and show flow and with oversight of any outside contractors or vendors
  • Provides administrative support to the President of the NRF Foundation and other team members as requested
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Background, Skills and Abilities

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications or other related discipline, or relevant work experience
  • Minimum two years’ experience in program or administrative support
  • Motivated self-starter with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously and follow through on issues in a timely manner.
  • Ability to work and collaborate as a part of a fast-paced, driven team
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, with specialty in PowerPoint
  • Error-free writer with strong proofreading skills and ability to communicate accurately and succinctly to different audiences 
  • Exceptional interpersonal communication skills
  • A team player with the ability to engage with staff members in all levels of the organization
  • Ability to adapt quickly and readily to change
  • Some travel required
