WASHINGTON – The National Retail Federation today announced that Executive Director of the NRF Foundation Adam Lukoskie has been promoted to also serve as senior vice president of NRF.
“As executive director of the NRF Foundation, Adam has been a true champion for the retail industry and the millions of people it employs. He leads programs that help people land jobs in retail, advance their careers and prepare the next generation of talent,” NRF President and CEO Matthew Shay said. “Adam will now serve as a member of the NRF leadership team and will continue to play a role in identifying opportunities for NRF to better serve the retail industry.”
Lukoskie joined the NRF Foundation in 2018 and leads all major programs including the RISE Up training and credentialing program and university initiatives, communications, content, fundraising and the board of directors. He ensures alignment between the NRF Foundation and NRF on advocacy priorities, workforce issues and research, and develops strategies, programs and activities to help the NRF Foundation provide the skills and resources people need for life-changing careers.
Under Lukoskie’s leadership, the NRF Foundation has tripled engagement in the RISE Up training and credentialing program with 3,500 organizations and 45,000 learners, and has developed a Supply Chain credential to meet the current needs of retailers. He increased programming focused on upskilling current retail workers, and launched the Emerging Leaders Summit and the Bright Futures Scholarship.
NRF is the leading authority and voice for the retail industry, and as executive director of the NRF Foundation and senior vice president of NRF, Lukoskie will continue to lead initiatives that help people build better lives and stronger communities through retail.
