The NRF Lawyers Committee is composed of in-house retail attorneys and legal executives selected by the NRF General Counsels Forum, or at NRF’s discretion, to discuss legal issues faced by retailers and explore trends and best practices related to litigation, technology and innovation, privacy and data protection, intellectual property, real estate, antitrust and other substantive areas of law.
Meetings
NRF will host regional dinners this fall for in-house counsel to network, share best practices and collaborate on pressing issues facing our industry. More information is coming soon.
These dinners will provide certificates of attendance for CLE, when applicable, to help members seeking credit from specific state bars. These events also connect members with law firms that can offer CLE credit.
Eligibility
The NRF Lawyers Committee is open to legal counsel and senior legal executives within NRF member retail companies, such as in-house counsel (corporate, litigation, real estate, employment, etc.), general counsel direct reports (associate, deputy, assistant) and legal executives (litigation executive, senior legal advisor, etc.), or at NRF’s discretion.
To join the NRF Lawyers Committee or learn more about NRF’s legal-related resources, contact Ceara Flake, vice president and deputy general counsel at NRF.
