Patrick McGary is vice president of membership sales at the National Retail Federation. In this role, McGary oversees the development of recruitment and retention strategies to meet the demands of NRF’s diverse and growing membership.
Before joining NRF, McGary held management roles at both nonprofit and for-profit organizations, most recently as chief operating officer at the Heart Failure Society of America. As COO, McGary was responsible for membership, marketing and finance. Prior to that, he was COO of the American Society for Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition for over a decade, leading the organization’s strategic growth initiatives.
McGary holds a bachelor’s degree of science in hotel management from the University of Massachusetts, an advanced certificate in strategic human resources from Cornell University and the Certified Association Executive designation from the American Society of Association Executives.
