Samantha Murphy is the director of marketing at the National Retail Federation. She oversees event marketing strategies to advance NRF’s brand and broaden awareness of its key events for all different retail roles.
Murphy came to the NRF in 2017 from the Home Shopping Network. As an assistant brand marketing manager for HSN, she helped develop marketing plans around key company priorities and new brand launches, created customer loyalty strategies and helped lead key communications to stakeholders around HSN consumer trends. In her previous role at HSN, she managed the affiliate partner program with companies like Rakuten and led several of the first influencer affiliate campaigns for the retailer. She was also responsible for the “Today’s Special” paid media presence.
Prior to HSN, Murphy was a marketing manager at a Tampa-based marketing agency where she executed digital marketing strategies for a portfolio of clients in the B2B and B2C space.
Murphy is from Miami. She attended Florida State University and received a degree in public relations with a minor in business.
