How companies can streamline supply chains and kickstart sustainability initiatives

The Expo at NRF Supply Chain 360 showcases critical supply chain technology

At the NRF Supply Chain 360 conference and expo, attendees explored the modes and methods needed to build a stronger, more sustainable supply chain and ensure resiliency in challenging times. Learn more about the conference, held June 20-21, 2022, in Cleveland, here.

Shortages of everything from apparel and consumer electronics to auto manufacturing components and medical equipment continue to dominate the news. The world is getting smaller, cross-border commerce is a reality and the connections that make it happen are getting more complex.

These challenges can’t be solved in a silo. Building a sustainable and resilient supply chain can only happen when we work together — and that’s where NRF Supply Chain 360 comes in. This event, taking place in Cleveland June 20-21, brings together retail supply chain and sustainability professionals, industry experts and tech innovators to share ideas and advance the future of the supply chain.

In addition to educational sessions featuring speakers from brands such as Tractor Supply Company, Amazon and Patagonia, and many opportunities to connect with retail professionals in similar roles, the event offers a valuable opportunity to explore new supply chain technology. The Expo will feature 75 companies showcasing cutting-edge solutions, covering delivery, logistics and warehousing, demand forecasting and virtual supply chain models.

The Expo includes a special Startup Zone highlighting seven forward-thinking companies that are changing the way retail works. These companies are helping brands streamline their supply chains and kickstart their sustainability initiatives.

  • Boxes uses automation to facilitate product refills and gamify sampling.
  • Dronedek automates the last mile with secured technology.
  • Hailify offers a national network of drivers for companies of all sizes.
  • InRange Advertising offers trailer skirt advertising backed by consumer data, helping brands increase awareness and provide a consistent marketing presence in multiple markets — all while creating less carbon per driven mile.
  • Shipium enables fast and cheap shipping by algorithmically modeling delivery estimates.
  • Sourcemap provides real-time inventory visibility for brands, along with ongoing risk and disruption monitoring. Its systems allow insight in the supply chain from end to end so companies can be sure best practices are being followed.
  • Varis is a tech-enabled network that connects organizations of all sizes with suppliers of all sizes.

The Expo at NRF Supply Chain 360 provides ample space to relax and recharge as well. The Garden, the Expo’s networking hub, offers lounges, charging stations, a bar and live entertainment from local musicians.

Attendees can also have some fun exploring the Expo with the Match, Spin & Win game. Retail and exhibitor badges will have random numbers printed on their badges. Find your match on the Expo floor and bring them to The Garden to spin the prize wheel and win a gift card.

Whether you’re looking for new supply chain strategies, want to test-drive the latest tech solutions or accelerate your sustainability initiatives, NRF Supply Chain 360 will put you on the path to improving your supply chain operations. Register now for the event, June 20-21. NRF retail members can bring their entire team for the cost of one registration; learn more about the NRF Member Max Pass here.
