What would you say to news that Heidi Klum and Tim Gunn are once again joining forces to find the next great fashion designer? You could say “bravo” — but be careful when it’s time to tune in: It’s not airing on Bravo TV.

The new venture is the brainchild of Amazon and will debut March 27 on Amazon Prime Video. “Making the Cut,” hosted and executive produced by Klum and Gunn, will air two episodes weekly for five weeks, with the finale airing on April 24.

The fresh iteration of the once immensely popular “Project Runway” that paired the two years ago gives 12 designers and entrepreneurs the chance to compete against one another in an international competition. They will face challenges and assignments intended to test their design skills and their abilities to run various aspects of a business.

The winner will receive $1 million, a mentorship with Amazon Fashion head Christine Beauchamp and an exclusive collection to be sold on Amazon worldwide. Over the course of five weeks, viewers will have the opportunity to buy the winning look on Amazon immediately after each episode airs.

Naomi Campbell, Nicole Richie, Joseph Altuzarra, Carine Roitfeld and Chiara Ferragni join Klum as judges on “Making the Cut.” The trailer for the series shows the designers traversing the globe, visiting Paris, New York and Tokyo as they compete for the challenge to become what Gunn describes as “the next global fashion brand.”
