NRF offers a variety of scholarship programs for students and retail workers seeking to enhance their retail education and careers. Tailored for the best of the best, our scholarships offer awards up to $25,000 and the chance to experience special events held in conjunction with Retail’s BIG Show and the Shop.org Summit to demonstrate firsthand retail’s diverse career opportunities.

The Next Generation Scholarship recognizes outstanding students at NRF member schools who are currently pursuing retail careers and have the skills, insights and interest to be successful in the retail industry. A pinnacle achievement for students seeking recognition by the retail community, this scholarship offers an award up to $25,000.

Work in retail? In collaboration with University of Phoenix, NRF offers the Dream BIG Scholarship, which awards 20 current retail workers a full-tuition scholarship to advance their careers through education.

Passionate about digital? Open to all eligible U.S. college students, the Ray Greenly Scholarship offers scholarships up to $25,000 to students pursuing a degree in fields most relevant to digital retail – such as engineering, computer science, marketing, business and e-commerce – and provides select students with the opportunity to attend the Shop.org Summit.

2015 Student Challenge team

Got ideas? The Student Challenge is a business-case competition that allows students to showcase their creativity, business acumen and entrepreneurial spirit to retail executives. Participation in the Student Challenge offers a chance to travel to New York City for Retail’s BIG Show, face-to-face interaction with some of retail’s biggest executives and a scholarship up to $5,000.
