NRF’s RetailPAC Direct is launching a new program, “Connect with Congress,” to convene retailers for exclusive conversations with key policymakers to discuss hot topics on Capitol Hill. These virtual events empower retailers to share their stories and build relationships with leading lawmakers while discussing top-of-mind policy issues affecting the industry. We will highlight prominent topics such as organized retail crime, swipe fee reform, retail tax credits, the 2024 election and so much more.
The first “Connect with Congress” event is scheduled for Wednesday, Sept. 27, with Representative Susie Lee, (D-NV-03) Representative Lee will discuss the ongoing epidemic of organized retail crime and how she is leading the way to help address this issue through her support of the Combating Organized Retail Crime Act.

In his role, he leads initiatives and member programs focused on asset protection and store operations, facilitating engagement across the industry and promoting best practices and policy initiatives around crime, violence, loss and issues challenging the profitability of retail store operations.
