Pass the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement because retailers depend on our North American trading partners.

The recently renegotiated U.S.-Mexico-Canada Agreement modernizes the North American Free Trade Agreement and recognizes the importance of our critical North American trading partners and supply chains. The next step is for Congress to consider and finalize the agreement.

The retail industry, which supports one in four American jobs and contributes $2.6 trillion to annual GDP, imports $182 billion worth of products from Canada and Mexico each year. Trade between the three countries also supports 12 million American jobs in every state across the United States. To preserve and improve these important benefits of free trade, Congress must act to update and modernize this crucial trade agreement.
