WASHINGTON – Former Chairman and CEO of PepsiCo Indra Nooyi will serve as a keynote speaker at next week’s NRF 2021: Retail’s Big Show – Chapter 1, the world’s leading event for the retail industry.

Her initiatives in sustainability and corporate responsibility have been highly impactful,” NRF President and CEO Matthew Shay said. “Her unparalleled business acumen helped lead one of America’s most notable brands to new heights and spearheaded a series of successful global acquisitions. We look forward to her insights surrounding these extraordinary times.”
Nooyi will be interviewed by Sara Eisen, co-anchor of CNBC’s “Closing Bell,” in a featured session on Wednesday, January 13. Their conversation will focus on navigating the disruption caused by the COVID-19 pandemic and Nooyi’s current role as co-chair of the Reopen Connecticut Advisory Board, which advises Governor Ned Lamont on economic and public health impacts from the virus. Nooyi will also draw on her tenure as the chief executive of PepsiCo and her successful “Performance with a Purpose” initiative.
Retail’s Big Show, held virtually January 12–14, 19 and 21–22, 2021, will feature six days of insights and innovations from the leading voices of the retail industry.
