Retail sales continued to grow in July as consumers shopped for school and college supplies and took advantage of special promotion days offered by some retailers, according to the CNBC/NRF Retail Monitor, powered by Affinity Solutions, released today by NRF.

NRF issued the following statement after the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) withdrew its appeal of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas’ decision to strike down the Board’s final joint employer rule. NRF and other major employment groups filed legal action against the NLRB after the final rule was released in October 2023.
