Join our employment law and benefits network

The NRF Employment Law and Benefits Committee collaborates on labor, human resources and employment law issues, including trends in litigation, new policy developments and best practices. This network provides members the opportunity to network with industry leaders and exchange information.  

This group examines health care and benefit legislative and regulatory policies that affect retailers and recommend policy positions for NRF advocacy. In addition, members serve as NRF's technical committee on labor law and employee relations matters and regularly files amicus briefs on behalf of the industry.

Meetings

The committee meets twice a year in person and connects virtually once a month. This network can participate in NRF’s weekly benchmarking calls.

Eligibility

The NRF Employment Law and Benefits Committee is open to retail in-house legal counsel, senior human resource executives, lobbyists, compliance staff, benefit specialists and prominent outside labor counsel within NRF retail member companies, or at NRF’s discretion.
