For many years, has partnered with Forrester Research for the State of Retailing Online study to evaluate where online retailers are in the development and progress of their digital business. As the digital landscape has evolved, so have the results. For example, in “The State of Retailing Online 2014: Key Metrics and Initiatives” findings earlier this year, we found that key metrics such as online sales, site conversion and average order value stayed strong compared to last year. Not surprisingly, this year’s top objective for retailers is everything mobile. From site optimization for tablets and smartphones to rethinking and redesigning using responsive design, more than half of retailers surveyed noted that some type of mobile initiative was one of their top three priorities in 2014.
