NRF's thank-you campaign recognizes retailers, employees and customers for their collective efforts to keep our communities safe during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Retail companies and their employees have been on the front lines of the pandemic, ensuring their communities are well-stocked with essentials in the midst of unprecedented challenges.

Whatever your role, it takes a whole community to minimize the impact of a pandemic. As the country continues to combat the spread of COVID-19, NRF recognizes the incredible efforts of the retail industry for going above and beyond to create a safe environment for their teams and customers, as well as consumers stepping up and shopping responsibly and considerately. 

To the retail companies that have adapted quickly and creatively to safely serve communities that rely on them, thank you.

From senior hours to curbside pickup, and contactless delivery to surges in demand and supply chain challenges, retailers have accelerated the pace of innovation, rising to meet unforeseen challenges. And many companies have shifted operations to making PPE for health care workers, engineering and producing masks, and making financial donations to support COVID-19 relief.

To the retail workers who have continued to serve customers under difficult circumstances, thank you.

From patience with long lines and working double shifts, to adapting to new procedures and showing kindness to customers, retail workers have played a critical role in ensuring everyday life goes on for the rest of us — birthdays are still celebrated, families still gather around the table to eat dinner, and children stay busy with new toys while their parents work from home.

And to consumers who have met the challenges of shopping during COVID-19 with patience and understanding, thank you.

From following new guidelines in stores to wearing masks and waiting patiently for deliveries, shoppers have truly shown that combating the spread of disease is a community effort where everyone plays a role.
