The Strategic Supply Chain Council provides senior-level executives guidance and technical expertise on issues affecting retailers’ management and security of their international supply chains.
This council shares updates on supply chain issues and convenes NRF members to converse on key challenges and legislative and regulatory proposals affecting the retail supply chain.
The council convenes through monthly conference calls and two in-person meetings per year. Ad hoc calls are held as needed.
The NRF Strategic Supply Chain Council is open to senior-level executives within NRF member retail companies, such as those responsible for the global supply chain, transportation, sustainability and logistics.

While there is not one easy solution to these supply chain challenges, the Ocean Shipping Reform Act of 2021 that was recently introduced in Congress could provide much-needed assistance as retailers and consumers head into the all-important holiday shopping season.
