WASHINGTON – Award-winning actress, producer and Pattern Beauty founder and CEO Tracee Ellis Ross will deliver a keynote address on Jan. 13 at NRF 2025: Retail’s Big Show. Ross will discuss how she created a multimillion-dollar global brand that celebrates the worthiness of Black beauty and the importance of representation and inclusivity in the beauty industry.

Ross is best known for her performances in Girlfriends, Reed Between the Lines and her role in Black-ish, for which she received a Golden Globe Award. She founded Pattern Beauty in 2019 with a promise to embrace, love and support the community it serves. Pattern Beauty encourages self-expression by promoting confidence in all natural hair types.
In addition to Ross, several industry leaders are scheduled to speak at NRF 2025, including The Goldman Sachs Group Inc. Chairman and CEO David Solomon, Target CEO Brian Cornell, Shopify President Harley Finkelstein, Walmart U.S. President and CEO John Furner, New Balance Athletics Inc. The annual convention will take place in New York City from Jan. 12-14 and is expected to draw together more than 5,000 brands and 40,000 attendees from nearly 100 countries.
