NRF Foundation RISE UP De-escalation training credential

The NRF Foundation partnered with the Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI), a global leader in de-escalation training, to create a 30-minute online program, the Customer Conflict De-escalation Credential. Developed specifically for front-line, customer-facing and distribution center employees, the program teaches associates how to identify and manage customer conflict within a retail environment.

Active Shooter/Assailant – Federal Agency Resources

The Cybersecurity & Infrastructure Security Agency leads the federal government’s public defense against active shooter situations. The following resources are available through government sources supporting the retail community in active shooter preparedness training and response. Retailers may use these resources to assist in the planning, development and implementation of an active shooter plan within their organizations.
