"Mr. Acosta will be an advocate for federal policy that benefits all interested parties.”
Rob Green
WASHINGTON, April 27, 2017 – The National Council of Chain Restaurants called on the Senate to confirm nominee Alexander Acosta as secretary of labor during a vote scheduled for today.
“The Department of Labor has an important mission and broad policy portfolio that affects a wide array of stakeholders including chain restaurants and their employees,” NCCR Executive Director Rob Green said. “Mr. Acosta understands the challenges faced, by businesses small and large, in navigating a complex web of statutory and regulatory requirements imposed by the federal government. Mr. Acosta will be an advocate for federal policy that benefits all interested parties.”
Green’s comments came as NCCR sent a letter to the Senate in support of Acosta’s confirmation.
